Job Description

The Front Desk hostess must have a true heart for hospitality and a strong desire to create a memorable first impression and guest/team member experience. This position will open the office each morning and greet all guests and team members with high energy as well as route calls and handle basic office administrative tasks. The ideal candidate loves fast-paced environments, meeting new people and making them feel welcome, is enthusiastic and inviting and embraces change and new challenges.   

  • Act as a face of the company and brand ambassador for SMG with a dedication to our values of fun, caring, hospitality, energy, and high standards of integrity and quality
  • Open the office (i.e.) unlock doors, turn on lights, music and TV, restock the kitchen and coffee supplies and get the office ready for the day
  • Complete office walk- through to ensure all equipment is operating 
  • Answer phones in timely manner and forward to appropriate parties
  • Greet guests and interact with them while they are waiting
  • Maintain conference room calendars and manage schedule
  • Keep reception, visitor areas and kitchen clean and organized
  • Sign for incoming packages and notify team-members of package arrival
  • Basic office administrative duties such as ordering supplies, handling mail and packages, managing office inventory
  • Additional general administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Must be available to work the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday 
  • Intermediate Skills in Outlook, Excel and Word
  • One to three years’ experience in hospitality and/or customer service role
