Job Description

The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for assisting Director of Security and Risk and Operations Management Team in identifying, implementing and maintaining risk management functionalities within the organization.  Ensures thorough investigation into and reporting of all work comp and general liability incidents.  Maintains favorable relationships with business insurance partners.

  • Proactively identify and assess risks throughout the company. In conjunction with Director of Security and Risk, design internal programs to mitigate risk.
  • Daily monitoring of internal reporting tool for all guest and employee incidents.
  • Perform thorough investigation, document results and facilitate resolution to all guest and employee incidents.
  • Acts as liaison to attorneys, insurance companies and individuals, coordinate follow up communications with appropriate individuals.
  • Maintain electronic and paper files necessary for documentation of the claim files.
  • Develop and implement risk management programs and initiatives to manage exposure.
  • Identify key risk metrics and reporting and communicate to Director of Security and Risk to support business decisions. Use data to evaluate risk management performance, drive improvements, and drive change where appropriate. 
  • File appropriate compliance reports with regulatory agencies. 
  • Inspect and audit facilities, identify issue and coordinate with Area Manager and Facilities to ensure deficiencies are addressed.
  • Analyze actuarial data and provide recommendations regarding insurance portfolio expense.  Ensure budget achievement.
  • Assist Director of Security and Risk in assigned projects.


  • Minimum 7 years risk experience specifically with regulatory compliance, safety, commercial lines of property, casualty and workers’ compensation programs and claim management.
  • Bachelor’s of Business or related Degree.
  • Strong analytical ability and ability to prepare and present concise oral and written reports.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, ability to diffuse tense situations.
  • Able to work well independently and work collaboratively with other functional teams across organization
  • Multi-site/multi-state hospitality or retail highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and provide resolution quickly and efficiently.
  • Some travel required.
