Job Description

The Field Recruiter will partner with the leader of talent acquisition and retention strategy and process.  This position will focus on the sales and marketing side of the recruiting desk with a focus on passive sourcing, relationship building within the industry, pre-screening and interviewing candidates, scheduling, follow-up, feedback from management, and documentation, analysis, and creative problem solving in relation to candidate and new hire compliance and trends.  This role will act as a culture leader exemplifying SMG’s values, principles and promises to the highest standard of integrity as part of the foundation of success for all applicants and new team-members.

 

  • Meet all compliance standard under the direction of the Director of HR in the creation and utilization of sourcing, pre-screens, documentation, and all other compliance as it relates to SMG’s policies and procedures and federal and state employment law
  • Follow KPI’s to meet quotas set by the Director of Organizational Development
  • Review, rate, and respond to all applicants to all jobs posted for SMG’s Field Manager positions
  • Passively search for candidates through a variety of diversified sources both online and in the field
  • Develop relationships within SMG to source referral candidates
  • Manage the referral bonus process in collaboration with the Payroll Manager
  • Develop relationships within the community and industry for potential current and future passive candidates
  • Pre-Screen, Interview, and select candidates to send to management
  • Submit candidates to management and schedule interviews and follow-up interviews
  • Follow-up with all candidates through the process weekly
  • Follow-up with all denied candidates
  • Complete analytics for candidate, salary, market, and industry trends
  • Act as a manager of checks and balances with all departments through the new hire onboarding process
  • Work with creative team and the HR Coordinator to develop advertising to attract targeted talent
  • Determine culture fit and soft skills needed for each job and create pre-screens and assessments that exemplify these standards in accordance with skills, experience and all other job requirements
  • and Act as a culture ambassador displaying SMG’s values, principles, and promises to the highest standard of integrity
  • Additional responsibilities as needed and assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a preference in business or a related field
  • Working knowledge of employment law as it relates to recruiting, hiring, and onboarding
  • 3-5 yrs. experience in full cycle recruiting
  • Proven ability in sales and the selection and retention of qualified, culture fit candidates
  • Sense of urgency while prioritizing contradicting tasks
  •  Strong attention to detail
  • Medium/ advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 45 word per minute with accuracy
  • Advanced, grammatically correct, positive, upbeat, respectful, and service minded skills in all verbal and written communication
  • Intermediate/ Advanced writing abilities
  • Up to 25% travel as needed
